  I called in here on my recent visit with my sister to Durham. It's set down on the riverbank so unless you know it's there it's not immediately noticeable. There's steps down to it from the bridge or you can reach it through the shopping centre if you go down the steps from the carpark, there is a lot of floors to go down to reach it so if you're not too fit there is a lift.
  
  It's well worth a visit, it's lovely inside very modern, with a veranda with outside seating that overlooks the river. We sat inside on high tables next to french doors which open out with lovely views.
  
  There was a good choice of food but we settled on a warm steak sandwich with a beautiful sweet onion chutney, a bowl of fries and a side salad. Now I never get excited about a side salad but this was a good mix of salad with a tangy dressing on top. I have to say I've never eaten a steak sandwich so gorgeous it was really tasty.
  
  The only slight downside was it was served on a board with a piece of parchment on it then the meal on top, really could have done without this because it got a little bit messy with the steak and sauce dripping out,but it's only a minor thing. It was a bit pricier than I would normally want to pay about £12 for the meal and a drink but it was so worth it.
